KEYSTONE BICHON FRISE CLUB
July 10, 2004 PICNIC

(
What's funny is that there were more photographers out
front with cameras than there were people in this photo!!!)

The hostesses with the mostest!
Eileen Zaleski & Connie MacInnes

Now where is the longest tongue contest
when you're pumped and ready?!?!?

The always exuberant Mim Barnhart
shows off her album of "Harry" portraits.

The picnic included mini-lessons on
showing one's Bichon.
Here veteran Jean Glass gives presentation tips.

A Silent Auction of delightful bichon items
was designated to support Bichon Rescue's work
on behalf of Bichons far less fortunate than those at the picnic.

Table handling & presentation
were taught by 13 year old Elizabeth Snyder
who showed her dog in JR'S. & Conformation.
Elizabeth put 13 of the 15 pts. on her dog. It takes 15 for the dog to have its CH. Quite an accomplishment.

Elizabeth Wilson tries her hand at
presenting her little show 'chon.

Cyndie Adams' cute duo.

That sandwich sure looks good ... slurp - slurp ....

Susan Dare and mom Alice Hart
toying with the photographer during lunch.

Lynn Speedie

All lined up, no place to go ?

The Wave!

Lynn took her two fluffs through the
obstacle course at the same time!

A few of the many Bichon Rescue dogs in the area ...

"Who are you and why are you here???"

'Smudge' started out his very timid self .....
but wonderful, dog savvy people like Pat Blewett
helped to ease his anxiety of strangers.

... by the middle of the day,
he was where gentle pats were being passed out!!

I
f fluffs don't flip your bic, just bring a book!

Have love, will travel ...

Thank you to our gracious hosts:
Connie MacInnes & Eileen Zaleski
& the rest of the Keystone Bichon Frise Club
for providing a terrific time for fluffs and the people who love them!

I was fortunate at the Keystone Picnic to win three beautiful items which were donated to the

2004 BICHON RESCUE BENEFIT
INTERNATIONAL ONLINE AUCTION
OF OVER 1,000 INCREDIBLE ITEMS!!

Thank you for supporting the work of Bichon Rescue volunteers throughout North America!!
All auction proceeds applied to veterinary expenses for Bichon Rescue fluffs
rescued, rehabbed & rehomed throughout North America.

Smudgie says:
"I'm exhausted ... how about
I wait here
while you pack the van, foster Mom..??"

Beautiful fluffs were everywhere!
