"Abigail"

Abigail (or Abby as we call her) is a little girl with a sad story. Abby spent her entire life with one woman...and both were very happy campers! Abby was very devoted to this woman. Unfortunately, that woman died after a prolonged illness. Abby was left alone in the home for several weeks while the family tried to figure out what to do w/her. Now she's with us. She grieved terribly at first - howling and whining all night, wondering where her beloved companion had gone. She is really starting to perk up in her foster home & show her true bichon side!

Abby is a senior bichon. She is about 13 yrs. old. Bichons have a lifespan of 18+ yrs or more, so Abby's got plenty of life left to live! Abby is vision-impaired, but that doesn't seem to stand in her way. She's really a sweet little girl, and deserves a great home where she can live during her golden years. Won't you please consider giving a senior bichon a good home? After a life of dedication to her former owner, she deserves to be pampered for her remaining years!!! Abby's IDEAL home would be with an older couple, or single person, who is looking for a lap dog to lavish attention on.

Like all bichons, her behavior is NOT indicative of her age! Bichons are VERY youthful, and Abby is no exception. She just needs to find the love of a good family. Perhaps that family is yours!?
