EACH YEAR on July 5th, "LOST DOG" posters appear on telephone poles and bulletin boards all over our nation ......

Please .... LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME during fireworks festivities or keep him inside a cool vehicle or..... if you absolutely insist on taking your pet, please keep him/her leashed tightly to you.

Dogs who panic often slip out of their collars and dash for what they deem safe territory.
